THE SEVEN MILESTONES

1. Application: You complete an entry interview.
2. Begin Pre Employment Planning: You begin self assessment and start a
     pre-employment plan.
3. Complete Pre Employment Planning: You complete your Pre Employment Plan.
4. Complete Job Readiness/ Employment Skills Training: You complete your
     identified seminars.
5. Begin Work Placement: Working with a Vocational Counsellor or Placement Officer you     develop an appropriate volunteer work opportunity.
6. Complete Work Placement: With staff support you complete volunteer work experience.
7. Complete Program Summary Reporting: Review and assess your PES experience

YOU GET PAID!
You will receive payment as you work through Pre Employment Service milestones. This payment recognizes participation and helps defray any costs incurred during the program.

Payment is made after completing each milestone.

Those completing all milestones will receive a total payment of $300.



WE ARE THERE FOR YOU!
We continue to support you for six months after your work placement is complete.

As a participant in our program you are enrolled in Thinking and Linking, an internet-based information resource.

WHO CAN APPLY

You must be designated a Person With a Disability (PWD) by the Ministry of Human Resources.

HOW TO APPLY
• Contact the SENI representative in your area.

• The SENI representative will refer your inquiry to your local Ministry of Human Resources representative. When your referral is processed, you will begin the program.

• Before you are eligible to participate in the Pre Employment Services program, a referral must be provided by your local Ministry of Human Resources office.
